The Brother HL- 2700cn ships with starter cartridges that are rated for about 3,000 pages for your cyan, magenta, and yellow colors, a bit more for the black. If you should need copying, faxing and scanning, the Brother MFC-6420cn is a multifunction printer utilizing the same cartridges. The 9420cmn has the same maximum resolutions, but is a bit slower when it comes to color printing and copying.
