The Brother DCP-7060D is a monochrome laser printer built with small offices in mind. Able to print, copy and scan, it offers home users nearly anything they need. Though it doesn't come standard with faxing features like a lot of the competition, most home users don't need that feature anyway. Mac and Windows operating systems are both compatible with the unit, and connection is offered via USB.

Only one Brother DCP-7060D toner cartridge is needed for printing, and it is filled with black printer toner. The page yield for these toners is 2,600 pages, which should last for quite awhile. Using this Brother DCP-7060D toner, resolutions as high as 2400x600 dpi can be produced when printing and copying.

Automatic duplex printing comes standard, and up to 99 copies can be made from each original document. Reduction and enlargement are offered in 1% increments from 25% to 100%. This means that users are given the opportunity to produce the exact document they want every time. It will take about 28 seconds for the first page out to print, though, which Is quite awhile to wait. Thin paper, plain paper, thick paper, bond paper, recycled paper, labels and envelopes are all supported.

The only downside with this unit will probably be those expensive prices on the Brother DCP-7060D toner cartridges. Don't worry though, remanufactured versions of the printer toner are available from third party vendors. Not only do these cost about half of the price of the OEM versions, but they will last just as long as the original too.

At only 19.6 pounds, buyers won't have a problem lifting the Brother DCP-7060D. Not only is it light weight, but it also takes up little room too at only 20.8x20.1x17.4 inches. Overall, buyers won't find too many complaints when it comes to the DCP-7060D.
