If you are intending to print more presentations versus photos, consider the Xerox Phaser 8500 ink printer. Its large flatbed scanning surface also gives it an advantage for scanning larger media.

Overall, the Brother DCP-4020C will appeal to home or small office users who have a need for a photo-centric multifunction machine, and don't mind the lack of faxing capabilities. Memory card slots and excellent photo software make it easy to process photos, but high ink costs may be a problem for some buyers.
