For Summer Time Only

What could be more refreshing this time of year than a cold glass of lemonade? A few printable stickers and posters can make putting up a lemonade stand easier and more inviting to potential customers. There are several designs and lemonade recipes to choose from. Summer camp is now in session, too! Check out these ideas to send a camp care package to kids who are missing mom and dad this time of year.

Try something a little different this year to help pass long afternoon hours. Invite the neighborhood kids to a backyard photo booth. Provide dress-up clothes, as well as these free, printable props. Your kids will all wish summer would last a little bit longer.

When it’s Too Hot Outside

The final days of summer mean getting dusty wheels turning in little heads and getting back into a routine. But learning doesn’t have to be boring. Your kids may just need a jump-start. Get out the colors and print a few of these coloring pages and activity sheets. Summer themes and scenes will make them want to sit down for an afternoon of creative fun and learning.

Record summer memories, make a list of all that you and your family need to cram in before cool days are upon us, or set a schedule to live out the full potential of each remaining day. Just don’t let TV time take over what is left of this summer. Limit your family’s time in front of the television with this printable schedule. Get your kids involved and let them share in the responsibility of maximizing the hours that remain this summer.
